Dear Users,
We are thrilled to announce the release of a new integration between SuperOps.ai and Hudu, simplifying the way you manage, store, and retrieve IT documentation, passwords, and process maps.
This integration will help you stay organized while building and sharing global and company-specific knowledge.
Key Features of the Integration:
- Easy configuration: Connect your Hudu account to SuperOps.ai using your Hudu account URL and a newly created API key.
- Client, site, requester, and asset-class mapping: Import and set up data on Hudu by mapping clients, sites, requesters, and asset classes between the two platforms.
- Data syncing: Automatically sync records, such as sites, requesters, and devices, created under a mapped client to Hudu.
- Flexible field mapping: Customize field mappings for sites, requesters, and asset classes in Hudu based on your needs.
To get started with this integration, please follow the step-by-step instructions provided in our solution article here: https://support.superops.ai/en/articles/7236702-how-to-integrate-hudu-with-superops-ai
We hope that this new integration between SuperOps.ai and Hudu will help you efficiently manage your IT documentation and streamline your knowledge-sharing process. As always, we welcome your feedback and suggestions to improve our offerings.

There is already IT documentation built in to SuperOps. I suspect that will continue to be developed to include similar features. Being able to import from Hudu would be nice to make migrating easier.

Erick Baum: If you ever grow out of Superops, or need to migrate for any reason, you will have another hurdle as you cannot take their documentation with you.
Hudu is built solely for documentation and excels in this area. Integrating into an existing tool provides more flexibility for us, the MSP. Its like tying your entire business to a backup that is locked into the rmm provider - a bad move.

Steven Grabowski: Unless SuperOps ads an export option or allows access via API that others can import from. But I understand what you're saying.

Erick Baum: Hudu has so many cool features and scripting abilities, I just cannot imagine leaving it at this time. Update documentation automatically from workstations, servers, Unifi, Office 365 - its pretty slick and I don't want to switch :)
I guess if I could run a script through the RMM that would then just update from the agent machine to hudu directly to stuff the documentation in there.... its how SI Portal had worked...

Steven Grabowski: I completely agree that SuperOps has a long way to go with the IT documentation and we probably wouldn't start using it as our primary tool until it matured quite a bit. I like Hudu a lot and will probably be sticking with it for a while.

Steven Grabowski: I would rather a product integrate into an excellent product (like Hudu) rather than trying to recreate the wheel.
